Jack Prybylski is one of Western New York's premiere saxophonists. As a performing artist, Jack has performed with saxophonist Richard Elliot, singer Michael Civisca, The Box Tops, blues vocalists Shirley King and Ann Rabson, blues guitarists James Anthony and Bob Margolin as well as the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. He has shared the stage with David Sanborn, The Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, Jeff Golub and Avenue Blue, Craig Chaquico, Doc Severinsen, Los Lobos, Goo Goo Dolls, Bare Naked Ladies, Robert Cray, Marcia Ball and Jay Leno. He is a six-time recipient of the Buffalo Music Awards top saxophonist award, receiving the award back-to-back in 2001 & 2002.

 

Jack has studied saxophone with Edward Yadzinski, former bass clarinetist/saxophonist with the Buffalo Philharmonic and renowned jazz saxophonists David Leibman, Tim Price, and Dave Schaivone. 

 

Creature" with the Buffalo NY-based eclectic jazz group Them Jazzbeards, an album with Buffalo NY blues group Project R & B Revue and has also appeared as a sideman o numerous projects by area and regional artists. In addition, Jack has recently released his first solo projected entitled Soho Strut.

Jack is an endorsing artist for SKB cases, Applied Microphone Technology microphones, Saxrax saxophone stands and Kiwi wind products. As an endorsing artist, Jack has attended trade shows and performed clinics and concerts throughout the United States as well as Mexico and countries of the Pacific Rim.
